Lolz.

Gordon Lightfoot almost left Lake Ontario out of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

It's an afterthought.

Im getting effin pissed. When i first came up to the thousand islands a nature guide said Jacques Cousteau said lake ontarios unpredictable micro bursts were the scariest most violent he could imagine. You know the bering sea is horrendous, you know when a hurricane is coming. You dont know about bigtime downdrafts and micro bursts on lake ontario.

The North Atlantic makes the Bering sea look like a puddle of a rain water during storms.

Lake Ontario isn't even the most dangerous of the Great Lakes, let alone "most dangerous water in the world"

Micro bursts hit the mouth of the st larry and lake ontario shoreline like no where relative to predictability and potential veracity. Meteorologists have no clue about this phenomena

Jesus Dan, I've been off the grid for a couple days. Didn't even find out about what happened until late last night.

Glad to hear your brother in law is alright.

Thanks Bill.

Talked to my BIL this morning, said he finished about 40 minutes ahead of the explosion, but was still hanging around the race.
Said it was utter chaos!

Ok, since it's the next day, I guess I can say this- if I ran 26.195 miles, I'm crossing that finish line, and I better damn sure get my t-shirt, medal, whatever you get. I don't give a damn if a bomb went off, I'm finishing that last 100 yards.
