He just kept butting heads with everyone here including admin. I believe he was kindly asked to relax and ended up just requesting to be banned. To my knowledge he's the only person to ever be banned from wff aside from spammers.

Why do people do that?

I don't know. I asked Olly to after he moved a few of my threads. I made like four horrendous posts and PM'd him for a good ol' fashioned banning. I felt like if I cant find my threads I want out. I wrote down some absurdly long discombobulated password and changed it but then just requested a new one a few days after giving in.
