Those are good bags. Lots of room.

I prefer regular mesh bags to the slotted ones.

I like to be compact and slotted bags require to much space.

No, but those are for field hunting, and for that I would rather drive my truck out in to.

That's what those bags are for. Agreed though driving in is far better.

What do you need bags for if you are not walking?

Protection. And I'm sure it makes it easier to set them out when you can take 6 out of the truck at a time instead of 2.

Okay that makes sense... I don't do much field hunting... I also don't see much use for full bodies.

Shells are easier to deal with and birds are not that smart. People have shot geese over black trash bags for god's sake.

As has been said before, protection. When you run 5+ dozen Dakotas at $500+ a dozen, you don't want them banging around against each other in your trailer. Bout the only decoys that can take that kind of abuse are Bigfoots, and they don't fit in bags worth a shit anyway. And yes, I'm sure birds have been killed over trash bags before, but you try hunting geese in a bean field in December that have been getting pounded for two months and tell me they are not that smart. Full bodies help hide the profile of a layout blind, and unless there is snow, you rarely see geese laying down, so the full bodies give a more natural presentation of geese in a field (not to mention motion).
To achieve success, one must possess dedication, passion and a boatload of decoys.

And those bags are the only ones that fit Dakotas with bases on.

FBs do work better than trash bags. Dakotas are too expensive to beat up without the bags.

I agree they work better than bags, but a nice shell... IDK.

I use a dozen sleeper shells mixed in to add texture to the spread. Does it work? I don't know but it makes me feel better.

I've been on an eBay spree today. Bought a case for my phone, arrows, and two Mora knives.

Sent from my phone.

I bought that knife for 4 bucks when I was about 12 years old. Rode my bike to a local mom and pop sporting goods store, the store owner made ride home and ask my mom if I could buy the knife. I rode back and told him she said it was ok. Think that could happen in today's society?

Yup, I love those knives. I have one called the Clipper in my go bag but they don't make it anymore. So I got two of these, going to keep one in my truck and the other in the boat. Both were $12 on ebay. I still prefer my fixed Gerber Gator as my main knife but for the price these are awesome.

I read your post earlier and couldn't figure out why the name sounded familiar. Finally remembered that knife in the cupboard above the fridge. Their prices are still reasonable.

I got my first one 5 years ago from an Asian market in California for $6. The bushcraft crowd loves them.
