Shit I'm going to be just one state over. I'd show up.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

I can guarantee woodies and gadwalls in that spot. Some teal, widgeons and mallards may show up in there. I've got plenty of other spots.

I took a cruise out of NOLA that left the day after the duck closer in January. I tried my damdest to work a hunt in, but the Mrs. wasn't having it.

NOLA was awesome, even without Bourbon St. Can't wait to get back down there.

I'm in the northwest part, totally different than the south. Either way La is a pretty awesome state. Far better than that place called texas! :)

I'd argue but I'm inclined to agree with rebel now days. I think I'd still take texas on the Sabine over La.
