Neighborhood prowler.

Postby FlintRiverFowler » Mon Apr 22, 2013 8:58 pm

There's been reports of someone lurking around my neighborhood peeping in windows and such for the last three months. Mainly from the house directly behind mine. I've got a bright ass yard light with a metal halide bulb but i don't think the guy gives a shit. I've noticed someone had been messing with my gate to the back yard occasionally over that period. It's not easy to open bc the hinge is broken on the bottom so you gotta lift it to move it but this stupid asshole is not putting it back right. My pup got out in the road today bc of it. Any suggestions for setting a booby trap for this creep? (People have notified the sheriffs dept but he still hasn't been caught) some others claim to have a good idea as to who it is too. Tonight I turned out the big yard light and spread flour inside the gate to see if he leaves a foot print for me in the morning. Haha. I suppose I could figure out a way to lock the gate but that's a real pain in the ass to have to get my keys out and unlock the damn thing every time I need through it.

You should wait for the cops to just go around to everyone's house, marching them out at gunpoint to try and find the guy. Maybe they could park an up armored humvee in the road for good measure.

A 330 on top of a 5gal bucket buried in the ground just inside your gate. Get that bastard in the kneecap with one of those and he aint going anywhere.

Some WFFers might remember when I set the crack head trip line using 500lb mono. You should set some trail cameras too.

Why not set some wireless drive way sensors out back. When u hear a tone, grab your Louisville slugger and go give him the Travon treatment.

I got a pair of these on the driveway, and they work amazingly well for something that cost $15 each. Had them out for almost a year now, and still on the same batteries. They cover the whole front yard.

Fishing hooks strung across the walk way at head height, with another about waist high should help...

The guy in the ER with a bunch of hooks in his body will have a tough time explaining himself.

I think this is where something clever about tapatalk should go.

Set up a trip wire about chest-head height, and run fishing hooks down it every 8 inches. Make it easy to come unnatached form whatever it is strung across, the attach a shitload of aluminum cans to one end.

If you have tall windows, (high enough that you need a chair to stand on to see in) dig a small hole, in this, put a board with nails in it and cover with soft, unpacked dirt. Then take a plastic lawn chair and saw the bottom enough for it to break with enough weight, but don't saw it so much that it breaks right away, and place it conveniently near or over the board with nails.
