Samsung is being delivered today, you can shoot my phone for $100, otherwise it will be relegated to backup.

in the paint scheme, there is two colors, dull dead grass and of green, I sprayed a base of of green and then mixed of green and dull dead grass. I then mixed each color and the mix with rustoleum flat black and flat white to make the different shades and layered to give it that effect. Those colors work well here. The same thing can be done with any color. I like the big patterns better than small as the small seems to stick out more at a distanceassateague wrote:Tomkat wrote:Love that paint scheme

i wasn't sure about them so I built a set out of wood first to see what they were all about, those lasted a few years and then I had some made, I'll never have a boat without pods againkalmic wrote:jehler wrote:its not the perfect duck boat but we fish the whole rest of the year the lakes aren't froze, it serves us well. Did you buy the pods or have them built or build them yourself
easy peasy, takes about an hourFeelin' Fowl wrote:I'll give you $50, a six pack and 20lbs of Kingsford to make mine look like that...
I think this is where something clever about tapatalk should go.

water weighs 63ish pounds per cubic foot, so by adding those two pods to the back I added another 200+ pounds of flotation to the aft of the transom. This means that I can safely have 200 more pounds in the back of the boat without fear of swamping. It also gets me a but lower draft while static and prevents the bow from rising when during the hole shot, especially when taking off into the wind. Decreases waves coming over the transom when backing up into long lines too. The only real downside is the decrease in op need performance, I'm thinking I lost about 4mphTomkat wrote:jehler wrote:i wasn't sure about them so I built a set out of wood first to see what they were all about, those lasted a few years and then I had some made, I'll never have a boat without pods againkalmic wrote:jehler wrote:its not the perfect duck boat but we fish the whole rest of the year the lakes aren't froze, it serves us well.
