I've been using this pizza pan as a heat diffuser on a rack that's abt 9 inches above my fire basket. Y'all think this would work to put the heat diffuser pizza pan directly on top of my basket and then cook in that lower rack? I've got three racks of ribs and then abt ten chicken thighs to cook tomorrow.
holy shit man do you cook for the whole neighborhood every time you fire that thing up?
I cook for friends and family every time. I figure the charcoal to food cooked ratio is kinda excessive if I only cook for me and the wife. I guess I'm kinda assateagueing it as not to waste fuel. I've had such good response to the food I've made that I'm considering going into a side business maybe taking orders for Boston butts or ribs and charging X amount for them. Turkeys at thanksgiving.. Etc.
youll have to change your name if you're selling the stuff, will have to have a "sweet" "bubba" "baby" "slow" or "big" in there somewhere
If he continues smoking a lot of chickens, I vote for "Big Cock Smoking LLC"

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.
