My early goose shooting was horrible, depending how you score it. I killed 5 out of the 7 geese I shot at.
It just took me 18 shots in the air, 3 to finish off cripples, and 1 decoy that got smoked.
I keep shooting like that, I'll end up shooting 3 cases as wellAnd I'll need to buy more decoys.
I made sure I got out and hit the trap range. I definitely needed it. Only 10 days until our duck season opens.

I'm Looking forward to that and dreading it at the same time for the same reasons.
At least you only have to buy it all once and pass it down the line to the younger one.
