Is it just the 9mm? I've never heard of all those safeties, but I've only ever messed with the LCP in .380.

I believe its only the LC9 that has all the safety features. The LCP does not have all those, like you guys have already stated. I was told it was so they could be sold in California. I dont know how true that is since Boot has the LCP without all that shit.

California is using (THE DROP TEST) to keep certain kinds of guns from being sold here. I was able to buy my LCP because I'm law enforcement. LCP's could not be bought by the general public when I got mine so there may be something too what you were told. Too many hippy weirdos in this state!

Can you buy the kit or do you have to send in your parts to be modified? It says they are only modifying customer supplied parts.

I read that at some point they're gonna offer it as a purchasable kit. That's what's holding me back from doing it right now. What if the parts were lost in the mail...

I'm calling BS.

If you were using the force, you wouldn't need to shoot:grin:

That's fine I'll take that. Unlike many of the raging hard-ons out there that go around talking shit about how they'd love to get to shoot and kill the hamburg-urlar if ever given the chance (even though truthfully I think they'd be the ones to piss themselves and hide in the corner), I hope that the laser dot I put on someone's chest is the deterrent needed to ensure that I never have to have a 'justifiable' on my conscience. If it ever boils down to a "it was him or me scenario", guaranteed I'll place myself as a higher priority, but if I can avoid it with a dot, even better.

I'm definitely not a fan of the "deterrent" mindset when it comes to carrying a gun for personal defense. Drawing my gun is THE LAST thing in the world I want to happen and I would do anything to avoid that including flee if I can but if my gun comes out of the holster it's not to scare someone.

There's a lot of discussion of this over on the defense carry forum I lurk on. What i think you're sayin is if you have to pull it it's gona be as a last resort. I feel like I'd rather not pull mine prematurely and escalate a situation that couldve been resolved but also don't want to get to the point where it's too late to pull it out.

CCing everyday has taught me a lot of self control. You have to actively change your mindset when you carry, I actually like carrying because it causes me to be more of a level headed guy. Not to mention more aware of my surroundings.
