Guess that keeps the riff-raff out.
Sounded like a fantastic opportunity.
THEN I TALKED TO SEAN.
Sean is from Arkansas and recently moved to Katy, Texas. Said he can't get out of Texas fast enough because of how well they treat "outsiders" there. (sarcasm font required here)

We're both from Illinois and decided there is no love in Texas for either one of us so we CHUNKED that idea.

I'm not sure but I think I just heard an entire state sigh a moan of relief.

Why on earth would you want to leave a great place like IL? Its the land of Lincoln you know.

TK didn't you know he was the best president ever. Freed the slaves all on good will.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Why? Because the state was once RED and a good place to live and work but now it's BLUE and isn't. Corruption in our state govt. is rampant and I guess it always has been. They just didn't get caught as often in the past. The taxes are sky-high and so are the land-prices etc.

AT would crap his pants if he walked into a grocery store here.

Really felt safer camping out 3 miles from the nearest electricity than I do in my own home. At least I could carry a loaded pistol and defend myself.

The rest of the details are kind of personal.

The promised land, land of the wild "jaguars".

I Rock my "Jaguars" Tshirt every now and then when lounging around the house. Lady Friend has no idea what I had to do to earn it.
